Abstract:In brown seaweeds, cell wall polysaccharides are dissolved in hot water, acid, and organic solvents to extract fucoidan. The study looked at 13 Indian brown seaweeds and used three different fucoidan extraction techniques: hot water (HW), hydrochloric acid (HA), and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA).
