“…Using the Kirkpatrick 4-level evaluation model, 8 this study found that 3YMD students were similar to 4YMD students on key admission variables (except for age) and performed similarly to 4YMD students both in medical school and in the first year of residency, which is consistent with findings published in the 1970s.
