Abstract:Excess of alcohol consumption with consequent Alcoholic Liver Disease (ALD) is common cause of liver dysfunction, leading to morbidity and mortality. It encompasses a spectrum of disorders ranging from asymptomatic steatosis, alcoholic steatohepatitis, fibrosis, cirrhosis and its related complication.
