Abstract:SUMMARYTranscription factors (TFs) are key regulators of gene expression, yet many of their targets and modes of action remain unknown. InSchizosaccharomyces pombe, one-third of TFs are solely homology-predicted, with few experimentally validated. We created a comprehensive library of 89 endogenously taggedS. pombeTFs, mapping their protein and chromatin interactions using immunoprecipitation-mass spectrometry and chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing. Our study identified protein interactors for half the T… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
