Abstract:Azadirachtin, a complex tetratriterpenoid limonin with potent insecticidal properties, is the most widely used biological pesticide worldwide. Its versatile pharmacological applications include the inhibition of tumor growth and anti-malarial, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties.
