A Conformational Study of the Trisaccharideβ-D-Glcp-(1→2)[β-D-Glcp-(1→3)]α-D-Glcp-OMe by NMR NOESY and TROESY Experiments, Computer Simulations, and X-Ray Crystal Structure Analysis

Abstract: Proton-proton cross-relaxation rates have been measured for the trisaccharide beta-D-Glcp-(l --> 2)[beta-D-Glcp-(1 --> 3)]alpha-D-Glcp-OMe in D2O as well as in D2O/[D6]DMSO 7:3 solution at 30 degrees C by means of one-dimensional NMR pulsed field gradient 1H,1H NOESY and TROESY experiments.
