A conserved karyotype? Chromosomal rearrangements in Charadrius collaris detected by BAC-FISH

Abstract: Charadriidae comprise 142 valid species and the most recent checklist for the occurrence of this family in Brazil describes 11 species. There are few chromosomal studies in Charadriidae, most of them using a conventional approach.
