Transportation, temperature control, and the production of pharmaceuticals all rely on 71 percent of the Earth's surface, which is covered by water. Valuable things, including minerals, metals, corals, and coral reefs, can be identified with the help of the IoUT, among other applications. One of the crucial uses is in preventing damage caused by natural disasters. The IoT boosted concepts for a new undersea network (IoUT). Underwater networks have many drawbacks, including a lack of dependability, limited bandwidth, long propagation delays, high processing demands, high energy costs, and node detection with secure communication. Real-time, secure data communication is a significant area of research for us, along with node identification and dynamic network configuration. IoUT faces severe obstacles in the form of these issues. Our strategy involves a dynamic graph for network design, an AFA algorithm based on AI for node recognition, and ECC for a secure communication mechanism. In order to increase discretion and provide the undersea network with adequate robust security.

SummaryUnderwater IoT is incredibly helpful in monitoring a variety of jobs, from instrument monitoring to climate recording, from pollution management to natural catastrophe forecasting. Nevertheless, there exist various issues that have an impact on a network's efficiency such as the formation of void holes, excessive EC, and low PDR. As a result, the IGOR protocol is suggested in this study to increase PDR by reducing the percentage of void hole occurrence. The developed routing protocols' scalability is also examined. Here, the parameter optimization for the EC minimization and PDR maximization is performed by a meta‐heuristic optimization algorithm referred to as TSA. In order to verify that the suggested protocol is EC‐optimal by calculating the viable areas. In addition, suggested protocols are evaluated against contemporaries' benchmark routing protocols. The outcomes of the simulations clearly demonstrate that the suggested routing protocols obtained greater PDR than the current techniques. Additionally, there exists a reduction in the ratio of void hole incidence. Comparative research reveals that suggested routing protocols outperformed benchmark routing protocols by 80–81% in PDR. Further, the suggested routing procedures reduced the frequency of void holes by around 30%.

The underwater wireless sensor network (UWSN) faces many problems such as limited bandwidth, large path loss, high attenuation, and limited battery power. In recent times, different routing protocols have been proposed in the Internet of Things (IoT) enabled UWSN (IoT-UWSNs) to explore the underwater environment for different purposes, that is, scientific and military purposes.However, high energy consumption (EC), end to end (E2E) delay, low packet delivery ratio (PDR) and minimum network lifetime make the energy efficient communication a challenging task in UWSN. The high E2E delay, EC, and reliable data delivery are the critical issues, which play an important role to enhance the network throughput. For effective achievement of EC, proposed a new routing algorithm called bald eagle search (BES). It is a nature-inspired optimization algorithm that copied bald eagle hunting behavior. The proposed routing protocol includes three stages: initialization stage, construction stage, and the data transmission phase. The nodes identify the location and the sector during the initialization process. The construction phase includes two steps, neighbor node selection, and identification of energy efficient path. Then the last phase includes the transmission, in this the broadcasting node chooses the nodes with high residual energy (RE) in comparison to the average RE of the entire network. The proposed method is implemented in MATLAB. The outcomes of simulation confirm that the BES algorithm has better performance on EC, average RE, and network lifetime than the three existing algorithm in UWSN.
