A cross-sectional study of the knowledge, skills, and 6 rights on medication administration by nurses at emergency department

Abstract: Introduction: Medication errors occur when a patient is given the wrong drug or receives incorrect pharmacological therapy. Incorrect drug administration can cause fatal errors resulting in the patient’s death. Approximately 44,000-98,000 patients die each year due to medication errors and this condition is found often in the Emergency Room (ER) due to the complexity.
