A cross sectional study on the immediate response and mental health of the people during the initial phase of covid-19 lockdown in Chennai

Abstract: Introduction: On 24th March 2020, a 21-day nationwide lockdown was announced by the prime minister of India. This was a beginning of more phases of lockdown. People had to stay indoors, with worries about an uncertain future, about the well-being of near and dear, the lockdown added to the stress of the pandemic.
