A Development of Magnetic-wheeled Robot with High Loading Capacity and Ability to Travel through plate to plate and Flange Parts

Abstract: In recent years, aging of bridges has become a problem, and the demand for robots that can inspect bridges on behalf of current bridge inspectors has been increasing. In our study, we developed robots that can move on walls and ceilings by the magnetic wheels attracting the bridge surface.
