Abstract:Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) is a rapidly progressive fatal condition. Although well described in the pediatric population, cases of secondary HLH are seen in adolescents and young adults. In the elderly, HLH has been shown to have a poor prognosis.
