Abstract:Left ventricular thrombus is a major complication following myocardial infarction, particularly in patients with anterior myocardial infarction or dilated cardiomyopathies regardless of coronary reperfusion therapy. Embolization of mural thrombus is one of the major causes of large vessel occlusion ischemic stroke.
