A finite difference algorithm for plotting electric force surface in three‐dimensional field computation

Abstract: SUMMARYA finite difference algorithm for plotting the electric force surface is presented in three-dimensional electrostatic field computation. Based on the flux concept, the nodal electric flux is calculated numerically through the curve integral of the electric displacement vector which was obtained by a numerical differentiation of the nodal elecmc potential. This latter is calculated by a finite difference method. The electric force surface may also be plotted.
