Abstract:A case study on a local chemical industry, Company A, is conducted in this article. Based on the data silo issues among different workshops and data tampering issues existing in the industry’s fire safety data management system, a novel distributed fire safety data management system that integrates blockchain technology with IPFS (InterPlanetary File Systems) is developed and tested.
