A Focus on Intra-Abdominal Sepsis with Biomarkers: A Literature Review

Abstract: Sepsis is defined as life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to infection according to the Third International Consensus Definitions for Sepsis and Septic Shock definitions.
