A FPGA-based real-time particle swarm optimization for temperature control of semiconductor laser

Abstract: The output power and wavelength of semiconductor lasers are mainly affected by operating temperature. In order to improve the stability of Laser Diode (LD), a temperature control system is designed in this paper.
