Abstract: According to a generic tired-light hypothesis found consistent with H(z) data, the density number of galaxies has been nearly constant over the last 10 Gyr at least, the density number of star-forming galaxies, as probed by sources of gamma-ray bursts, being constant as well, meaning that, as far as galaxies are concerned, the Universe has been stationary.
