A Fully Electronic Time Reversal Mirror System Based on Temporal Imaging

Abstract: A fully electronic time reversal mirror (TRM) system, which can make signal time reversal transformation, is proposed in this paper. The high-order asymmetric all-pass equalizer (APE) is proposed to provide a prescribed group delay for the TRM system. Finally, two APEs are designed to be used in a demonstrated TRM, which has a time duration of 10 ns and a bandwidth of 1 GHz. INDEX TERMS Real time systems, chirp, signal processing, equalizers.
