A glutamatergic DRN-VTA pathway for neuropathic pain and comorbid depression-like behavior modulation

Abstract: Chronic pain causes both physical suffering and comorbid mental disorders such as depression. However, the neural circuits and molecular mechanisms underlying these maladaptive behaviors remain elusive.
