A GOMS analysis of the advanced automated cockpit

Abstract: Using models developed to analyze office automation (e.g.[3]), we identified skilIs needed to perform tasks using the flight management computer on advanced commercial aircraft, Our GOMS analysis showed that all tasks carried out on the device can be described in terms of three methods.
