A gossypiboma (textiloma) mimicking a gastrointestinal stromal tumor: a case report

Abstract: Gossypiboma (textiloma) is a rare but preventable complication occurring due to oblivion of the surgical material during an operation that carries important diagnostic difficulties as well as high morbidity and mortality risks.
