“…Historically, articles in the F&I section have fallen into five broad categories, including studies that consider (1) the status of economic education and related trends, (2) assessment and performance, (3) content, curriculum, and programs, (4) issues relevant to the profession and the professional economist, and (5) resources and opportunities for the teaching economist (Hoyt 2014). The F&I section has served as a venue to provide a broader context for topics that might be treated in a more specific way in other sections of the journal, and to share more descriptive, qualitative studies on topics of interest.…”
