Abstract:A mesogenic glycine based Schiff base compound of the type, (E)‐methyl 2‐((2‐hydroxy‐4‐(tetradecyloxy)benzylidene)amino)acetate (HL) has been successfully synthesized and characterized using analytical and spectroscopic techniques.
