Abstract:A highly-integrated reconfigurable Ka-band receiver in a 90-nm CMOS technology is proposed for the applications of satellite wireless communications, remote sensing of atmospheric conditions, and detection of space debris. The proposed receiver can be reconfigured to support active-receiver and passivereceiver modes. At the active-detection mode, it works as a direct-conversion coherent receiver for highspeed and global-coverage satellite communications. Measured conversion gain of 45.2 dB, noise figure of 7.6… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
