Abstract:Dysgerminoma is one of the rare highly malignant ovarian germ cell tumour. It originate from undifferentiated germ cells that are similar to primordial germ cells, and it is identical to testicular seminoma in males. Despite the tumour being malignant, prognosis is excellent with surgery and adjuvant chemotherapy, with promising results concerning future fertility.
