A hybrid FEBI-MoM-PO formulation for the analysis of radiation and scattering problems

Abstract: This paper presents a full wave hybrid formulation that systematically combines finite element -boundary integral method with method of moments and physical optics. Unlike many existing hybrids, each method in the proposed formulation is correctly tested by following duality parings. A robust domain decomposition preconditioner is then applied to solve the final system matrix. Several real life examples are analyzed to demonstrate the accuracy as well as efficiency of the proposed approach.
