Abstract:<p>In this paper, we present a Jacobian vector correction (JVC) method for calibrating tactile force in EIT-based tactile sensors. The JVC method addresses the non-uniform sensitivity distribution of EIT reconstruction by constructing a scaling vector for sensitivity correction based on the Jacobian vector. A thresholding segmentation strategy is employed to enhance the correction results within a region of interest (ROI). The proposed method achieves approximately constant sensitivity across all locatio… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
