Abstract

They key aspect of investigation is road safety. There is an enormous international pressure on development of road safety indicators. The aim of this article is to present the methodology of revision of road traffic order and to publish the preliminary results. Detailed matematical statistical analysis of traffic accidents were conducted in order to build up a hot-spot accident map of Hungary. This decision support tool helps decision makers to reveal the hot-spots about fatal road accidents in Hungary.
