A Low-Power Stand-Alone Adaptive Circuit for Harvesting Energy From a Piezoelectric Micropower Generator

Abstract: Abstract-An adaptive energy-harvesting circuit with low power dissipation is presented and demonstrated, which is useful for efficient ac/dc voltage conversion of a piezoelectric micropower generator. The circuit operates stand-alone, and it extracts the piezoelectric strain energy independent of the load and piezoelectric parameters without using any external sensor. The circuit consists of a voltage-doubler rectifier, a step-down switching converter, and an analog controller operating with a single supply vo… Show more

“…S3.2.1, (d) is a three-stage circuit based on the original Dickson charge pump, a DC-DC converter where the original DC input is shunted to the ground level and the logic control is replaced by the AC input signal to be harvested [29]. Extensive information about all circuits together with component values can be found in [27].…”

“…Peer to peer applications [1], integration with internet [2], security [3], maintaining network topology [4] and energy [5,6] are some of the most important challenges in MANET. We presented an test and exchange in MANET [7]. In MANET all nodes are free to join and leave the network, also called open network boundary.…”

“…The same process applies to every three consecutive nodes down the rest of the route [10]. The TWOACK scheme successfully solves the receiver collision and limited transmission power faced by Watchdog [9]. Though, the acknowledgment process required in every packet transmission process added a major amount of unwanted network routing overhead.…”

“…It is consisted of three major parts, namely, ACK, secure ACK (S-ACK), and misbehavior report authentication (MRA). In this secure ID, It is assumed that the link between each node in the network is bidirectional [8]. Furthermore, for each communication process, both the source node and the destination node are not malicious.…”
