Abstract:A low‐profile and broadband antenna based on modulated metasurface is proposed to obtain beam switching in the azimuth plane. The antenna is composed of four ports and a metasurface. A T‐slot is etched in the squared metal patch and is designed to increase the impedance modulation range and form the metasurface.
