A Measurement Way of Container Terminal Efficiency among Korea and China: Parallel DEA Model Approach

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to show the measurement way of the efficiency and inefficiency of 32 Korea and China container terminals by using Parallel DEA and CCR(constant returns to scale, input-oriented) models for the period of 2015 with 4 inputs (berth length, terminal yard, number of quay cranes, and number of gantry cranes) and 1 output (container TEU), also especially is to find out the CCR efficient terminals((SGICT, SPICT, SIPGZCT, HPNT, GANGI, GNICT, FICT, DCF)) and Parallel DEA
