This paper presents a new method on transmitting data over linear time-variant (LTV) channels when no channel state estimation (CSI) is accessible. The considered receiver is equipped with multiple antennas and observes a superposition of delay-Doppler shifted versions of the transmitted signal. The messages are coded with known waveforms and are estimated by the receiver using a modified version of the multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm. Although, the transmission scheme is designed for a multi-antenna receiver, the suggested method does not utilize the spatial signatures of multipath scatterers. Hence, the array response of the antenna setup is not required to be known in order to obtain a reliable estimate of the message. The effectiveness of the proposed transmission scheme is illustrated by numerical simulations.
