A method for monitoring and diagnosing the circular trajectory error in micromilling

Abstract: In CNC manufacture of micro components the manufactured product dimensional quality is strongly influenced by the machine tool movements accuracy. Trajectory curves and axis displacement speed values interfere in the machine positioning error. This situation is not considered in the traditional tests of a machine tool positioning accuracy performance.
