Abstract:We present a method for the steady state optimization of nonlinear delay differential equations. The method ensures stability and robustness, where a system is called robust if it remains stable despite uncertain parameters. Essentially, we ensure stability of all steady states of the nonlinear system on the steady state manifold that results from the variation of the uncertain parameters. The uncertain parameters are characterized by finite intervals, which may be interpreted as error bars and therefore are o… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
