A Minimum Value Based Threshold Setting Strategy for Frequency Domain Interference Excision

Abstract: We present a robust threshold setting strategy with modest computational complexity for frequency domain interference excision in direct sequence spread-spectrum (DSSS) communication systems. The proposed strategy calculates the threshold by multiplying the minimum value of the averaged squared magnitude with a predefined scaling factor.
