A mining industry overview of cobalt in Finland: exploration, deposits and utilization

Abstract: Finland has a significant role in the European Union cobalt supply, with the largest known cobalt resources and only cobalt-producing mines in Europe. In addition, Finland is a globally significant producer of refined cobalt. However, Finland, along with the rest of Europe, is strongly dependent on cobalt imports.
