Abstract:This paper proposes a boost PFC converter based on model predictive current control to achieve both improved efficiency and robustness against voltage distortion. The control method of the conventional boost PFC converter adopts a fixed switching frequency, so it is limited in improving the switching loss. In addition, distorted current occurs under distorted voltage, which degrades converter performance. However, the proposed method operates with a variable switching frequency because it predicts the inductor… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
