Abstract: Aims/Background Pregnancy can affect various bodily functions, including metabolism, cardiovascular function, and eyesight. Pathological ocular changes observed during pregnancy are linked to the development of pregnancy-specific conditions, such as preeclampsia/eclampsia and gestational diabetes.
