A modified Sierpinski carpet fractal antenna for wireless applications

Abstract: A novel multiband fractal antenna is proposed and designed for wireless applications. The multiband characterstics is exhibited by modifying the Sierpinski carpet fractal structure which result in Broadband characterstics, size reduction and performance enhancement.The proposed antenna covers wireless applications like Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, WLAN, Bluetooth, ISM etc. The designed antenna and its radiation parameters such as return loss, VSWR and radiation pattern are analyzed.
