Abstract: Piezoelectric nanocomposites consisting of an orthotropic piezo-active polymer matrix and with piezo-ceramic nanoparticles as reinforcement are potential candidates as materials for structural components of the next-generation energyharvesting micro-devices that are compatible with flexible electronics.
