A multidimensional analysis and modelling of flotation process for selected Polish lithological copper ore types

Abstract: Abstract. The flotation of copper ore is a complex technological process that depends on many parameters. Therefore, it is necessary to take into account the complexity of this phenomenon by choosing a multidimensional data analysis. The paper presents the results of modelling and analysis of beneficiation process of sandstone copper ore. Considering the implementation of multidimensional statistical methods it was necessary to carry out a multi-level experiment, which included 4 parameters (size fraction, col… Show more

“…Thus, by considering the resultant outcomes from all three mineral wettabilities and floatabilities together with the literature works, we examined the ultrasonic-assisted copper porphyry ore at both rougher and re-cleaner stages. The beneficiation process can be also evaluated by means of the methodology presented in our previous works [79][80][81][82][83]. We recently presented the impact of configuration of sonication in four states on batch flotation of copper porphyry ore [31].…”

“…Wilks met the problem with his multidimensional analysis of variance (MANOVA), which allows a simultaneous examination of relations between two or more independent variables of type and two or more dependent variables of quantitative type. Hence, both ANOVA and MANOVA turn out to be useful in the study of grained mineral properties and their impact on the beneficiation effects [53][54][55][56].…”
