“…There were preliminary data ( González-Duarte et al 2008 ) that another genus with uniserial radula, Piseinotecus , which is still traditionally placed within the separate family Piseinotecidae , is closely related to some Flabellina species. Most recently, Furfaro et al (2017) confirmed this and have shown that in most of the NE Atlantic and Mediterranean species previously assigned to genus Piseinotecus the true triserial radula is present, and delicate lateral denticles were just overlooked in previous studies.…”
