A Multimodal and Inclusive Pedagogy of Text and Voice

Abstract: This chapter is intended to explore a brief overview of select reading models and to propose a unified theory of examining literacy practice across multiple modes of meaning. In this work, the author bridges reading to other forms of interacting with text, including forms of communication that draw upon visuals and digital tools.
