A multimodalidade na escola: análise do videoclipe “Aos olhos de uma criança”, de Emicida

Abstract

Considering the indication of the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC), in order to work with the digital culture, this article aims to analyze the video “Through the eyes of a child” by the rapper Emicida, in order to investigate the different modes of meaning that make up the multimodal text. For this, we use qualitative research, with a descriptive and analytical approach. The epistemological construct deals with the theory of the music video genre and multimodality. The analysis indicated the proficuity of work with multimodality, since it allows the teacher to address aspects related to gender. In addition, the video clip is part of the social practice of the student, therefore, justifies the study of this genre.
