“…The reduction peak potential of the Co III TMPyP aqueous solution is –0.233 V and that of KLaNb 2 O 7 modified GCE is similar to bare GCE, suggesting that the Co III TMPyP molecule is the main active site. Furthermore, this film‐modified GCE shows higher ORR current than the commercially available Pt/C electrode, indicating better electrocatalytic activity towards ORR [38].…”

“…Intercalation of porphyrins into hydrated vanadium (V) oxide [31], layered niobates [32,33], and silica [34] have been reported to find utilization in catalysis and electrochemistry as well as photochemistry. Our research team has reported intercalation composite of metalloporphyrin with K 4 Nb 6 O 17 [35][36][37][38] and KNb 3 O 8 [39], and the intercalated metalloporphyrins have been proved to be stable in interlayers and retain chemical activities; potential applications in electrochemical detection of O 2 and H 2 O 2 and catalytic epoxidation have been proposed. Here, we report the preparation of Fe III TMPyP-intercalated KNb 3 O 8 (labelled as Fe III TMPyPNb 3 O 8 ) and its electrochemical catalytic activities on ascorbic acid.…”
