Abstract:Two new regioisomers acyclonucleosides bearing 1,2,4-triazole rings as the base moiety were synthesised with aliphatic side chain [(2-acetoxyethoxy)methyl]-bromide under solid-liquid phase transfer catalysis (S.L.P.T.C.) and under silylation method. Biological evaluation of all product revealed they were inactive against various RNA and DNA viruses in cell cultures. Structure activity relationship studies (SAR) indicate that introduction of acyclovir arm in N1 or N2 position of 1,2,4-triazole has not any impac… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
