The teacher's worth in Cameroon is the target of this study. Data were collected before, then after the year 1993. The wage of teachers from public schools is greater than that of teachers from private schools. Before the year 1993, the name or the presence of the teacher affected positively children behaviors; his home and his physical appearance imposed admiration; his incomes were multifaceted and commensurate with his role in the society; he was free of frustration and could therefore easily follow the impact of his teachings in the daily life of his students. The year 1993 comes with the daily reducing of the teacher. Hence, his home and his physical appearance are pitiful; parents and students regularly beat, insult, kill, and jail them; they are always engaged in many parallel activities; they frequently abandon students during the academic year following emigration. The future is increasingly worrying for Cameroonian youth.
