A new [Co21(H2O)4(OH)12]30+ unit-incorporating polyoxotungstate for sensitive detection of dichlorvos

Abstract:

A new [Co21(H2O)4(OH)12]30+ unit-incorporating polyoxotungstate (denoted as Co25Si6W60) has been hydrothermally synthesized and fully characterized. The unique Co25Si6W60-based biosensing system offers an environmentally-friendly route for detecting dichlorvos.

“…When the pH is increased to about 8.0, 2 is obtained; its polyoxoanion contains a unique {Ti 10 } double-wheel cluster surrounded by two divacant SiW 10 O 37 and two trivacant SiW 9 O 35 fragments via Ti–O–W and Ti–O–Si linkages. In contrast, our research team has been committed to the research of hydrothermal synthesis for many years, leading to the successful syntheses of various structurally new high-nuclearity TMAPs, including Ni 28 , Zr 24 , Co 25 , Ni 20 , Ni 22 , Ni 24 , and Ni 40 . However, taking a closer look at the synthetic details, most of the highly nuclear Ni-added POMs (NiAPs) have been prepared with the addition of organic amines.
