A new definition of instantaneous active-reactive current and power based on instantaneous space vectors on polar coordinates in three-phase circuits

Filters 1 AbstractThere have been many variants of the active power filter proposed and these variations cover both the circuit topology and the control system employed. Some of the control variants reflect different control objectives but there are still many variants within similar objectives. This paper describes and contrasts the available control techniques in a structured way to identify their performance strengths. Objectives are classified by the supply current components to be corrected and by the response required to distorted grid voltage. The various signal transformations are described in terms of their impact on the distortion identification problem. Time-domain, frequency-domain, instantaneous power and impedance synthesis methods are examined. Additional control functions such as DC-bus voltage and current reference following are also discussed. It is found that a key difference between control methods is way in which current distortion is treated in the presence of distorted grid voltage.

Purpose is to develop a method for controlling a power active filter based on search optimization using software of Mathlab package and applying this method for balancing and compensating for all components of reactive power in a three-phase system feeding unbalanced linear and nonlinear loads simultaneously. Methodology consists in the development of a visual model of the power supply system that supplies unbalanced and non-linear loads, to the connection points of which a power active filter on IGBT transistors is connected according to a parallel type scheme. We propose an algorithm for calculating the chosen optimization criterion using a visual model, linking the visual model with an optimizing program, and performing a search engine optimization process using an embedded program that implements the deformable polyhedron algorithm. Results lead to an optimal mode, which is characterized by the amplitudes of the control signals of the power active filter control system determined by the search, as well as the initial value of the voltage on the filter energy exchange capacitor. Originality lies in the fact that the proposed method of controlling the operation of the power filter makes it possible to dispense with the construction of a relatively complex filter control system based on Clark's mathematical transformations. Practical value lies in the fact that finding a quasisteady-state optimal mode of the power supply system with a power active filter is performed automatically in the process of search optimization with a simplified control system. The above principles can be implemented in the microprocessor control system for power active filters. References 9, figures 4. Key words: search optimization, visual model, three-phase power supply system, reactive power, power active filter.Статья посвящена исследованию трехфазной четырехпроводной системы электроснабжения, питающей несимметричную трехфазную и однофазную нелинейную нагрузки. Силовой активный фильтр представляет собой четырехплечевой мостовой инвертор на IGBT транзисторах. Инвертор питается от энергообменного конденсатора и инжектирует корректирующие токи через буферные реакторы. В отличие от классической системы управления, основанной на преобразованиях Кларк для напряжений и токов, в рассматриваемом варианте предложено управление источниками эталонных сигналов, априори имеющими синусоидальную форму и совпадающими с фазами питающих источников электрической энергии. Определение необходимых амплитуд эталонных сигналов составляет сущность задачи поисковой оптимизации. Оптимизация осуществляется методом деформируемого многогранника с использованием визуальной модели системы электроснабжения с силовым активным фильтром. По завершении оптимизации система приходит к оптимальному режиму, характеризующемуся полной компенсацией всех составляющих реактивной мощности. Библ. 9, рис. 4. Contribución a la mejora de la eficiencia energética en sistemas trifásicos a cuatro hilos mediante la compensación selectiva de las potencias ineficientes. RESUMENEsta tesis doctoral trata acerca de los sistemas de compensación activos con conexión en paralelo, utilizados para la mejora de la calidad de la potencia y de la eficiencia energética en las redes eléctricas de distribución y en las instalaciones a cuatro hilos. En la presente tesis se desarrolla un nuevo control del filtro o compensador activo de potencia con la capacidad de seleccionar las potencias ineficientes a compensar basado en el IEEE Std 1459-2010.Algunos términos de potencia definidos en la IEEE Std. 1459-2010 presentan inconsistencias cuando se desarrollan las expresiones propuestas en la norma. Estas inconsistencias son corregidas con un nuevo procedimiento de cálculo que redefine la corriente efectiva (I e ) y el voltaje efectivo (V e ). Con los nuevos valores de V e e I e algunas magnitudes de la IEEE Std. 1459-2010 son recalculadas mientras que otras no se modifican.Se propone el uso de la teoría de la potencia instantánea para explicar los fenómenos que suceden en los sistemas eléctricos. Esta nueva teoría de la potencia eléctrica sirve simultáneamente para medir, cuantificar, y compensar los fenómenos de los sistemas eléctricos, inclusive puede ser usada para determinar las fuentes de distorsión armónica. Mediante el análisis de los flujos de potencia instantáneos se demuestra que la única potencia eficiente de los sistemas eléctricos es la potencia activa fundamental de secuencia positiva (P 1 + ).En relación con el compensador activo de potencia, se deducen las corrientes que debe inyectar el compensador para la estrategia de compensación global, en la que el SAPC genera todas las corrientes ineficientes que demanda la carga. Estas corrientes están basadas en la norma IEEE Std. 1459-2010 y en la nueva teoría de la potencia instantánea propuesta. Teniendo en cuenta de que los compensadores, como cualquier dispositivo eléctrico o electrónico, tienen límites en su potencia de salida, también se proponen expresiones para las corrientes de compensación en el caso de que el compensador no tenga capacidad suficiente para eliminar todas las potencias ineficientes de la carga (modo de compensación selectiva).Se establecen criterios de selectividad para la compensación de las potencias ineficientes de la carga. Con estos criterios se optimiza la transferencia de potencia útil de la red de suministro a la carga, se optimiza el uso del compensador, se minimizan las pérdidas y los efectos nocivos en el sistema eléctrico de distribución de potencia, y se reducen los costos de operación de las cargas eléctricas.Se incluyen resultados de simulación y experiment...
